WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) - Prince William County Police arrested Robert Alexander West, 24, after running his car into a police cruiser, authorities informed.
On Saturday, at about 10 p.m. a Prince William police officer attempted to pull over a car located on Kerill Road and Thomasson Crossing Dr. in Triangle, Va. The driver, Robert West, ignored the sirens and took off down Kerill Dr.
When West reached a dead end he intentionally struck the officers cruiser on the driver's side, leaving his car inoperable, according to police. West then fled the scene but was shortly after apprehended by officers. No injuries were reported.
When officers searched West's vehicle they found an undisclosed amount of marijuana and cocaine. During the investigation a search warrant was obtained to enter 3649 Stonewall Manor Dr. where they found additional marijuana, ammunition, U.S. currency and other items for narcotics distribution.
Officers arrested Keevin O'Brian Allen, 43, of the above address and charged him with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
West was charged with attempted malicious wounding of a law enforcement officer, felony eluding, reckless driving, driving on a revoked license - 3rd or subsequent offense, possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic [cocaine] and possession of marijuana. He is being held without bond.
