HAMILTON, Va. (WUSA) -- Loudoun County authorities say a woman who was charged in a crash at Route 9 and Golden Springs Court had a child inside the car at the time of the accident.
Authorities say deputies responded to the area on the night of May 30 for the report of a reckless driver. The car had hit a fence before leaving the scene.
Deputies found the car heading east on Route 7 near Route 9, and stopped the driver. Authorities say a 2-year-old child was inside the vehicle with the driver, a 32-year-old West Virginia woman.
The woman was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, felony child endangerment, driving on a revoked license, and leaving the scene of an accident.
She is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
Authorities did not release the name of the woman.
