FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA) -- A Fairfax man has been charged with destruction of city property and drunk in public for ripping up flowers on Sunday.
According to Fairfax police, 26-year-old Robert Meyer III was spotted by an officer at University Dr and North St on Sunday at 1:51 a.m. a pulling flowers from flowering pots that are City of Fairfax property. The officer also said that Meyer showed signs of being intoxicated.
At the Adult Detention Center, Meyer was charged with destruction of city property and drunk in public.
