The Ukraine , which currently relies heavily on Russia for most of its natural gas, is looking to diversify its energy supplies. The former Soviet Republic recently signed deals with Chevron and Royal Dutch Shell to develop some of its unconventional gas resources, and it's looking abroad, too. That's what brought Yuriy Boyko, the Ukraine 's minister of energy and coal, to Washington for talks with U.S. officials, and he will join the program to discuss his country's options for diversifying energy supplies.
