Arun Majumdar arrived in Washington three years ago to help launch a federal program designed to transform the way the U.S. produces and consumes energy - an idea that has been explored since the time of the Nixon administration. Although this notion has been explored by the Capital for several decades, many officials have left with little to show. Majumdar will step down this week from his position as the U.S. Department of Energy's director of Advanced Research Projects Agency, but before he does, he will join us on the program to discuss whether his new take on energy technology will be any different than ideas in the past.
